Engineering was a Tier Three technology unlockable after researching the Shields tech. It unlocked the Destroy ability, which allowed the destruction of buildings, and the Guard Tower unit. However, Engineering was removed during testing in the "Power" beta, with the Destroy ability being moved to the Construction technology and the Guard Tower being scrapped. It may come back again sometime in another form.
